Budding entrepreneurs the focus for ‘Startup Café’
As part of the Invest Fraser Coast THRIVE program, local go-getters are encouraged to attend Startup Café on Friday 3rd July at Toast Café, Maryborough.
Created for people with business ideas, budding entrepreneurs and innovators, Startup Café is for people to come together with like-minded people. Networking with other individuals in a similar position will help the creation of business relationships within the local community and assist with business formation, development and growth.
Mr Leigh Bennett Interim General Manager at Invest Fraser Coast, said many people don’t know where to start when creating their own business however the Startup Café concept provides advice, referrals and mentoring from local business people to bridge that gap.
‘People may be overwhelmed when creating or building on an established business. Startup Café will provide networking opportunities to turn your thoughts into actions or to arrange a 1:1 confidential discussion with our team. Come and have a coffee and a chat with our team and other local professionals about your business goals’, said Mr Bennett.
The Invest Fraser Coast Enterprise team will be present to give support and provide direction at each Startup Café that will be taking place at various locations across the Fraser Coast.
The Maryborough Startup Café is being held on Friday 3rd July at Toast Café in Bazaar St. No reservations or costs are associated with this networking event.
