Changing Organisational Culture topic for THRIVE
The second seminar in the THRIVE series focuses on ‘Changing Organisational Culture in an Environment of Austerity’ on July 15 in Hervey Bay.
Hosted by David Hay, Group General Manager of Kingfisher Bay Resort Group, the seminar will focus on typical challenges in today’s workplace including reducing operating expenses while delivering on guests needs.
Mr Hay said ‘the challenge of operating a competitive business in the service sector in Australia has always been significant, however today’s workforce combined with an environment of immediate guest response via social media is making this challenge even greater.’
The seminar will emphasise how to react to poor employee performance and how to build a culture where people in service roles who are modestly remunerated are happy to provide a high level of customer service.
‘Changing Organisational Culture in an Environment of Austerity’ seminar by David Hay will be hosted at USQ on July 15 at 5.00pm. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased from frasercoastopportunities.com.au/thrive.
The THRIVE program, developed by Invest Fraser Coast, is part of the business retention and expansion program that is being rolled out. For all the information on THRIVE programs and seminars, head to frasercoastopportunities.com.au/thrive.
