Hervey Bay Seafood Festival to be featured on TV
The Fraser Coast is back on Creek to Coast this Saturday, June 25 from 5.00pm on channel 7. This time, the show is focusing on the famous Hervey Bay Seafood Festival.
The event, which is part of the Hervey Bay Ocean Festival this year, is on August 14 at Fisherman’s Park, Urangan.
Host Andrew Mirosh catches up with some locals to see what goes into catching barramundi and highlights the fantastic recreational fishing the Fraser Coast has to offer.
Elaine Lewthwaite, President of Hervey Bay Seafood Festival said the episode will be great promotion for the Fraser Coast and the festival.
“It’s always great to have Creek to Coast in the region because it gives us a chance to reach our market in South East Queensland, where many of our festival goers travel from.”
The episode also features Akama Resort and highlights direct daily flights between Brisbane and Hervey Bay.
