Sir David Attenborough’s series on Lady Elliot Island
The second part to Sir David Attenborough’s last ever documentary, ‘Great Barrier Reef’ will focus on the spectacular Lady Elliot Island this weekend.
Going to air on the ABC on Sunday 17th April from 7.40pm, the second part of the three part series stars the famous resident Manta Rays of Lady Elliot Island.
Managing Director, Peter Gash, said it was an honour for the island to be featured in Sir David Attenborough’s last ever documentary.
“The fact that the Great Barrier Reef was chosen is fantastic. It emphasises how special this place really is to Australia and the world.”
The episode will go to air this Sunday, 17th April from 7.40pm on ABC Australia.
